under your Brief interpretation & Ideas page, start to breakdown your brief. Think about the theme and use the words as starting points. Remember your unit 2 can be anything audio visual. The theme and words are just starting blocks, they could be parts of your project. 

Once you have chosen and read through the brief you want to interpret and brainstorm
ideas. 

 

TASK 2

Start to interpret and understand the brief answering types of questions below;

- What you think you need to do in terms of length, aims and what succession looks like. 

- What's the purpose and who your audience could be.

​TASK 3

After, start to brainstorm ideas for an audio visual product. You could create a short film, music video or documentary. Use some of the following methods to come up with initial ideas. 

Inspiration  
Watch 2-3 similar products you find interesting. Analyse them to consider what you could use from each one. Think about style of filming, narrative, content, editing etc. 

Mind Map
Create a mind map using your chosen brief theme and words. Start to brainstorm ideas for your product utilising the words from your brief. Think about products, locations, themes, characters, style/effects, purpose, audience. 

Ideas 
Write up 2-3 ideas with a short synopsis (Story) and explain each one to another student. Discuss with another person to get feedback on each idea. After, write up the advantages and disadvantages of each idea considering audience, style, locations, needs etc.

After, you will need to produce a variety of idea designs using some of the below
